Talk Box

I built a talk box recently because i didn't want to spen $200 on a real one. The one I built kind of works. oh well it was fun making

Weights

On monday I went to Open Gym with Jared after school. The next day I was really really sore. I usually go to the gym with my dad. Jared does a lot more lifts then we usually do, that's why I was really sore. We worked out for at least two hours.

I got accepted to BYU recently. I am so excited. I have a Sister carrie Quiz in english next time. That blows. I wrote my first iPhone Application yesterday. I made Tic Tac Toe. Well ok I didn't really finish it, it doesn't do anything yet. I'm planning on finishing it today.

Feburary 17

Today in english we had a quiz that I think I did ok on. My group did our presentation today. We did our presentation on the Poem "The Unknown Citizen." In web design we learned about the anchor tag. It is used to add links to a page. On a side note, I missed breakfast this morning and I am really hungry. I could really go for some IHOP right now, it just sounds really good.

Tetris

Just recently I have been introduced to a new style of Tetris. It isn't new but i just found out about it. It's called Tetris the Grand Master. It was developed in Japan and is very popular over there. It's basically just Tetris with a bunch of new gameplay mechanics. I found out about it when I was invited to join the Tetris friends app on facebook. I have become addicted and cant stop playing. I am not very good. The top scores on facebook are so ridiculous, I have no idea how people are so good at tetris.

33.3 Seconds

Woohoo!! I solve the rubiks cube in 33.3 seconds. It is a good time for me, yeah it's kind of slow but oh well.

Sick

Today i'm really sick T_T I hate being sick, it is no fun at all. I noticed I was coming down with something 2 days ago and today I feel all congested. It's no fun at all.

Today in web design we learned some new vocabulary, Here they are:

Multimedia: The presentation of information using animation, sound, graphics and text.

.exe: A file extension that indicates that the file is a program file.

.txt: A file extension for text only files

.gif: A file extension for pictures, usually clipart

.jpg (.jpeg): A file extension for pictures, usually photos

.zip: A file extension for (zip)compressed file

Compression: The process of making computer data smaller so the information takes up less file space and may be transmitted in less time.

Bitmap: Any picture you see on a web page. A bitmap is a map of dots or “pixels”.

Banner: An image that appears at the top of every page on a web site. It is also called a title graphic or a page header.

Folder: A menu item containing further information.

Rubiks Cubes

Yesterday I got the book I ordered from amazon. It's called "Speedsolving the cube" The author is Dan Harris, a professional speedcuber. It is a compilation of many algorithms I still need to memorize to get my cube solve times down. It also has methods for the 4x4 and 5x5 rubiks cube. I need to get my solve times down on those too. I still want to order a V cube 5 , 6 and 7. i want to order the v-cube 5 because I think that the eastsheen 5x5 is too loose and too small. My eastsheen 4x4 doesn't work well either. It feels sticky to move and it locks up too much.

January 22

Today I had a latin roots test in English during first peroid. I only missed 4 points out of 68. During web design we learned about the HTML tags html body head and title. I couldn't put the tags in the angular brackets because blogger doesn't have a code option that displays code and it wont let me publish the post with html tags in it :( These are the basic tags used in HTML to structure the web page. During the class I got called down to Mr. Sanner to talk about my 4th peroid because it is empty. I have to get my parents to sign an approved release forum. I dont know why they are making me do this now because my counselor has known about my empty fourth peroid since the begging of the year when we first went over my schedule. I went to bed really late last night so I hope I dont fall asleep on the couch again. I need to go to the gym today because I forgot to yesterday because I was sleeping. In need to get my max bench up. Right now it's only at 140. Hopefully I can do 145 soon. Thats 15 lbs more than I weigh. It's not very much but i'm improving. I used to not even beable to bench 100 lbs. I also have to do some homework for Japanese class that is due first peroid tomorrow. I also need to do a packet for french that I forgot to hand in yesterday. It's worth 127 points! Right now on powerschool it's a 0/127 so I have an F in that class.

First Post (Inauguration)

Today is the day that President Elect Barack Obama is being inaugurated as the president of the United States of America. We are watching it on the Television right now. Some lady just sang My country tis of thee. I thought that her voice was really annoying. Somebody else should have sang. Oh well. Some bald dude just took an oath. He looks pretty happy right now. Right now there is a musical piece being preformed. It's pretty cool.
